bike ride

Last fall, one of Nick's coworkers gave him an old bike trailer that they had been wanting to get rid of...it just needed a new intertube for one of the tires...so few weeks ago, we took Addy on her first bike ride...
She really liked it and had fun peeking over at me and talking to me when I would get up beside her....
We stopped to visit a family from church and took Adelyn out so she could play with their kids. I had just strapped her back into the trailer when there was this insanely loud bang. We couldn't figure it out until Rachel pointed out that the (plastic) tire that Nick had gotten the new intertube for had busted! He apparently pumped it too high and the pressure from the ride or something made it burst. Thankfully no one was hurt.
We really enjoy bike rides and wanted to find a new trailer and quickly decided that plastic tires are NOT a good idea. :)
Nick did some searching on Craiglist and other various sites, but we didn't want to pay $200-$400 for something that a $150 would do the job just as well.
We found this one on sale at Target last week (it does NOT have plastic wheels)...

We tested it out on Monday...it was wonderful and Adelyn had a blast...now we just need to get some more nice days without so much wind and bike trails, here we come! :)
